Method has this interesting ad on the internet for the holidays where you can wash away your confessions. You can also look at other people’s confessions.
It was through this ad that I first found this line of method products. We don’t have Target here, so I don’t know where they would sell them. It seems like kind of a good idea, because they are supposedly all natural cleaning products, which I am into, but they are also quite pricey. Its amazing what you can do with some vinegar and baking soda, which cost about two dollars each. I am also intrigued by natural cleaning recipes made with essential oils (like those here and here), which would smell nicer than vinegar. There is more information here about the toxic nature of most common cleaning products, which are probably worse for you than whatever you are trying to clean away.

i know exactly what you mean. i buy the mrs. meyers geranium counter cleaner mainly because i’m crazy about the smell, but i always feel guilty knowing i’m spending money on something i could easily do without. baking soda, lemons and vinegar are all anyone really needs to clean things up!

I own and operate an All Natural and Organic cleaning service. I use some of Method’s products. The only downside is that the majority of my clients use my services because they are sensitive or allergic to harsh smelly cleaners. Method does have a strong sent. However, I have recently seen a new non perfume variety they are offering. I think it’s called Bare Naked?
Anyway, check out my website…

Hey it’s a pleasure to find this site.
I’m also starting up my own all natural cleaning business and I’m really curious what other cleaners who make their own products are using.
I bought method’s all purpose lavendar scented cleaner today to test it out but I feel that it would probably be cheaper to make my own products with essential oils, veggie based oils, vinegar, witch hazel etc….
Does anyone have any recipes they feel like sharing that work?
I’d love to know!
