Today was kind of a blah day, and I felt too tired and cranky to do any work. Therefore, I spent way too much time reading random stuff on the internet. Here are some treasures that I will generously share with you, to waste your time too:

The Kevin F. Sherry Sweater Project This link is making the internet rounds. I find it amazing that this guy actually owned all these sweaters. Knitters everywhere will cringe with horror at what some people will call a sweater and actually wear in public.

Vladimir of Vladistan Viewmaster Reels These are some amazing viewmaster reels that this person has made by creating actual 3D scenes, and then somehow captured them in a 3D viewmaster-looking photograph. There is an Italo Calvino one, a Franz Kafka one, and one about a cockroach.

Loobylu Christmas Cards Well, although I would like to deny that the Christmas season is upon us already, I can tell that it is because of all those Christmas card sets I have been receiving in the mail from charities using guilt tactics to get me to donate. While those Christmas cards are usually either hideous or cheesey, or some combination of both, these cards are definately not either. I don’t usually buy Christmas cards, I make my own, but if I were going to buy some, I would buy these. I really like her design, and they have a very interesting 3D look, actually kind of similar to the viewmaster effect.

holiday jones soda

Jones Soda Holiday Flavors This is intriguing in a creepy sort of way, and for some reason reminds me of that Saturday Night Live parody from years ago (when it was still funny) about Crystal Gravy, which was a mock on Crystal Pepsi. Jones Soda has come out with holiday flavors, including Turkey Gravey, Mashed Potato and Butter, Green Pea Casserole, and the slightly less disgusting Cranberry, and Fruitcake. Seems like maybe they aren’t really meant to be drunk, but saved as collectors items since each package is a numbered limited edition. But I for one would like to taste the Mashed Potato and Butter Soda. Yum!
