Just back from a weekend canoe camping trip in the Massasauga. It was fabulous, until we got rained out and I got sick. But it was lovely while it lasted…..

And since it is already the beginning of September, Ian has made us a new craft soundtrack. Check it out to your right.
Also, news update for Toronto crafters: The Tranzac is holding their fall craft show again this year and are looking for vendors. The show is September 23rd, e-mail annetta@battey-pratt.com for more info.

Wow, great pictures! I was wondering how your canoe trip went with the wet and windy weather in the east. I am looking forward to checking out the craft soundtrack although I made the huge mistake of buying Sylvie an Elmo CD at a garage sale — now she screams if I try to listen to anything else in the car. I totally ruined a good thing because she used to listen to MY music happily!

It’s funny, I have been reading and loving your blog for a few months now wanting to send an email letting you know how much i love it so! And then i return from a 8 day camping trip and i check your blog and isn’t it funny how we were both in the same place…who knows, perhaps we even paddled past each other! Massauaga is beautiful even when it was rainy! Anyhow, thanks for all of the great inspiration and brilliance! I am going to include a link in my monthly newsletter called the RED Letter that goes out to about 1500 folks! I will let you know when it’s finished!

Ugh, sick on vacation! I hate when that happens! Still, looks like the scenery was lovely. Welcome back!

My sympathies…I was sick all weekend too. Too sick to even be crafty! Glad to hear you enjoyed the first part of the trip.
