Thats awesome! I have a Kindle and recently made a case for mine with addition of an extra pocket for my moleskin since they’re roughly the same size.

Just a suggestion for future project like these – Try headliner fabric from Hancock’s instead of batting. It is a really dense thin foam that I believe provides better protection.

I also came from sew, mama, sew. I’m getting an ereader for christmas and don’t like the covers you can buy plus the last ereader I had I broke the screen because the cover wasn’t strong enough. Can’t wait to start sewing.

Help! I don’t understand how, in the 6th step, you sew the top of the case and are still able to have the top open. I keep ending up with the lining on the outside and the flap sewn closed inside the main pieces after I turn it out. ???

I too have my lining on the outside. can you clarify step 6??

I increased the width to 7″ so I could fit my nook AND its hardcase. Its very snug so I would maybe go up to 7.25″ but it works great since I want to keep particles off my nook which the hardcase doesn’t do since its meant to look like a bookcover. Fits my bare nook perfect otherwise.
Thanks for the great tutorial!
