I have been admiring other people’s work lately, feeling very inspired by everything, but already totally overcommitted on my list of Christmas gifts that I want to make. I can’t just keep adding to the list forever! Some things will have to become my January-keep-busy-in-the-dreary-winter projects.
These journals made from old books at Ex Libris Annonymous are amazing, and quite affordable.

Although I rarely wear earings anymore, I think these cherry ones at bird in a skirt are sooo cute.
Not that I need any more scarves, but these felted patchwork scarves made from recycled sweaters at pink thread are great. And really, now that I live in Toronto, I feel you can never have too many scarves. In Vancouver, perhaps my scarf collection was excessive, since there are people there who wear shorts all year, but in Toronto I feel no guilt on this one.

Finally, I am so into all the bags at fishcakes designs, especially this bee bag. Again, not like I need any more handbags, but I can still dream, right? Actually, on second thought, I don’t even own a black bag… hmmm…

I like the bee bag too. And the donkey bag is very cute! I used to get compliments on the purse you made me on a near daily basis (before it got worn out from so much use). I hope that a new bag for me is one of your super-secret projects!
I can’t see any of the stuff on the left hand side of your blog anymore, like the recent posts and whatnot. Is that because of my browser?

Hmm… well there is definately a problem with internet explorer. I’m not sure what though. I have added a Firefox button to the left menu (which I guess you can’t see) and I highly recommend that everyone use firefox instead of explorer. Its a way better browser, with lots of functionality, and its free! And it likes my website (unlike explorer)!
