Ta da…..all is revealed.

Except I forgot to take a picture of their insides, which is where the polka dot fabric went, for the lining. I transfered all the animals using the blender pen. I think I may have gone a bit overboard and I don’t want to see another zipper again for a very long time. But they turned out well, hopefully there are a lot of people needing new pencil cases or something at this craft fair! I almost feel like I should sell them in sets, the colors look so nice all together….

Those are awesome! I can’t believe that you made all those. My poor sewing machine has dust on it it’s so neglected.

I’m also very curious about how you used the blender pen. They’re wonderful! Will you be selling them outside of the fair?

Thanks for all the enthusiastic comments! I should have linked to my previous images transfer tutorial here http://www.thimble.ca/?p=121. You should be able to buy the pen at any art store, I know they have them at Curry’s in Toronto.
Everything I have left after the fair next week will go up in the shop, if anyone is interested in having one of these.
Thanks again for all the nice comments.

I’ve been all over the internet trying to find the kind of blender pen that you use for transfers and have had no luck. Would you be good enough to tell me where you bought yours? I live in the boonies and need to order my art supplies (and about everything else that can’t be bought at the local feed store) on line. Thanks a lot.

are the transfers washable? or will they come out once they touch water?
