I am slowly getting into the holiday season and realizing I need to get moving on my handmade gift ideas, or I’ll be crafting late on Christmas Eve like usual! There’s a new craft soundtrack up in the right column for this month, something to listen to while you do your holiday baking and crafting and gift wrapping.

And have you seen this fun polaroid maker? It’s kind of awesome. You drag and drop your images and it turns them into polaroid-looking photos, and you can even watch them develop like a real polaroid. I just want to turn everything into polaroids now, it’s too fun. A few weekends ago we were at the opening of the farmer’s market at the new Wychwood Arts Barns, a project that’s converted an old streetcar repair barns site into artist and community spaces. It’s a lovely building, and there were many delicious things to eat at the farmer’s market. They’ve also managed to keep a lot of the cool historic/industrial aspects of the streetcar barns. If you live in Toronto, it’s worth a trip up to St. Clair to see!
